A Buddy is a colleague made of software. It takes over one job that comes back every day in your business — and from then on it does it alone.
Every business has work nobody enjoys, because it repeats: the tenth enquiry asking the same question, the appointment that has to move, the invoice nobody paid, the WhatsApp message at half past nine in the evening. This work is not hard. It is just never finished.
It eats exactly the time the real work needs. And it is hard to hand over: hiring someone part-time for it does not pay, and an off-the-shelf tool does not know your business.

It learns your material, gets access to the tools it needs and rules for what it may do. You watch it work before any customer does.
From then on it runs. We keep looking after it, you can see everything it has done, and you can stop it at any time.
A Buddy is not a box with a speech-bubble icon. It has a job, a name and a face — and it knows what it is responsible for and what it is not.
That sounds like decoration, but it is the point: something with a clear role can be clearly handed work. You do not say "the AI does marketing", you say "Orbit takes the enquiries". That can be checked, and it can be taken back.
Orbit, for example: it collects enquiries from the form, the inbox and the phone note, sorts them by your criteria, answers the standard questions straight away, proposes an appointment, puts it in your calendar and follows up when three days pass without an answer.
That is not one step, that is the whole way from "somebody got in touch" to "the appointment stands". That is what a Buddy is for.
A Buddy that can only talk is not worth much. So it gets access to what you already work with: inbox, calendar, WhatsApp, till or stock system, accounting, customer list.
Which ones is your decision. It gets only the access its job needs — and not one more.
Every Buddy works from your own material only. It invents nothing, and when it does not know something it says so instead of guessing. A Buddy that guesses is worse than no Buddy.
You decide what it may settle alone and where it asks first. Everything it does can be read back, and you can stop it at any moment — without us, and without notice for the individual task.
It does not replace a person who makes decisions. It does not negotiate prices, it does not dismiss anyone, it makes no promises you have not put on file.
And it does not fit everywhere. If a job comes up twice a month, no Buddy is worth it — and we will say so. We would rather have a client who gets the right thing than one who bought something that stands idle.
Once for the build, then monthly for running it. The tiers differ in how many conversations are included and whether the Buddy only answers or also acts.
