What is Belegerl?

A receipts app for freelancers, small businesses and households. You snap receipts and invoices, Belegerl reads supplier, date, amount and VAT, you confirm with one tap, and the receipt is filed as a tidy PDF – ready for your accountant, too.

Can I use Belegerl already?

Yes. Belegerl is live (beta) and open to everyone: right in the browser on phone, tablet and computer. You can look around without an account using sample receipts; for your own receipts you create an account at belegerl.ai/app. Native apps for the App Store and Google Play are planned.

Is Belegerl accounting software?

No. Belegerl is receipt filing and analysis. Bookkeeping stays with your accountant, who gets everything as an export with PDFs, Excel tables and CSV.

Where is my data stored?

On a server in Germany (Hetzner, Nuremberg). Receipt files are encrypted there with AES-256, every transfer runs over HTTPS. To read a receipt, it is sent to Anthropic’s AI service; it is not used for training there.

Who is behind Belegerl?

A2 Digital Works e.U. from Vienna (company register FN 689975w). We build Belegerl ourselves – and use it ourselves for all our receipts.
