A2 Digital Works is a start-up from Vienna. You talk directly to the team that builds your project. No sales layer in between, no agency deck — instead fixed prices, a real staging environment and results that belong to you.
A studio, not a corporation. On purpose.
A2 stands for the founder's initials. A2 Digital Works is based in Vienna and run as a registered sole proprietorship (A2 Digital Works e.U., FN 689975w, Commercial Court of Vienna). We work fully remotely, with clients across Austria and beyond; project languages are German and English.
We build websites, brands and apps — and the Buddys that take over the repeating work afterwards. One principle applies: every method we sell runs on us first. This website, our assistant Ori, our ticket and invoicing system, our visitor statistics without cookies — all of it is in use here before we offer it to a client.
From enquiry to fixed price in three steps
- You write to usThrough the builder (three minutes, non-binding estimate), the contact page or by e-mail to hello@a2digitalworks.com. Every enquiry gets a number and a confirmation right away; simply reply to that e-mail if you want to add something.
- We answer within one business dayWith questions if something is open — or with a proposal straight away if the scope is clear. For funding questions we tell you within two business days whether a programme fits your location.
- You receive an offer with a fixed price per sectionIn writing, without hourly rates and without later charges for things you have not approved. Work begins only when you confirm — for funded projects only after the application has been filed.
Four phases. You see every state live.
- DiscoverGoal, audience, constraints. Result: a short document on what the project has to achieve — and what it does not.
- StrategyStructure, content, design direction, tech. Result: a basis for decisions with fixed prices per section.
- BuildDesign and engineering in short rounds on a real staging environment with its own address. You see every state, on your phone too, and approve section by section.
- Launch & improveGo live, measurement without tracking, refinement. Hosting or care afterwards if you want it — nothing is compulsory.

- The result is yoursFor websites, brands and apps you receive source code, design files and access, and can continue yourself or with another supplier at any time. For Buddys your content and data are yours; we operate the system behind them.
- No tie-in for projectsWebsite, brand, app: paid once. Only Buddys and care subscriptions have a 12-month minimum term, then cancellable monthly — with no automatic renewal for another year.
- One priceNet, published as a from-price. There is no second price for people who negotiate harder.
- Honesty before the saleIf a project is not eligible for funding, too small for a programme or not in good hands with us, we say so — even if it costs us the job.
Three things you will not find here
- No invented numbersNo client logos, reviews or revenue figures that do not exist. What is finished is under “Projects”; what is in progress is listed there as “in development”.
- No tracking of your visitorsOur sites run without cookies, without ad pixels, without fingerprinting. We still count visitors — from the server log, without recognising a person again. How that works →
- No Buddys that guessA Buddy says when it does not know something and hands over to a human. It names prices, commitments and dates only from your own information.
