What does A2 Digital Works do?
A2 Digital Works is a digital studio. We build four things, all from one studio:
1. Websites & digital experiences — structure, design, engineering, performance, accessibility.
2. Brand building — name, logo, colours, typography, domain, business email, website, launch.
3. App development — web apps, PWAs and mobile apps for iOS and Android.
4. AI automations & digital systems — workflows that run themselves instead of by hand every day.
On top of that: the A2 agents — specialised AI agents that take on a clear role in your business.
What is included in a website?
An A2 website covers concept and information architecture, its own design system, a statically rendered build with no bloat, motion and interaction, accessibility with WCAG 2.2 AA as the target, a fixed performance budget, SEO foundations, plus hosting and maintenance if you want them.
What you get: the design system, the finished responsive site, a clean content structure and a performance and accessibility report with real measurements.
The rule behind it: if we have to choose between an impressive effect and a smooth page, the smooth page wins.
Do you build a complete brand?
Yes — from the first idea to launch in one go: positioning and naming, logo and marks, colour and type system, brand guidelines with design tokens, domain and business email, signature and templates, website and launch, plus social assets.
You end up with a logo system as SVG, PNG and PDF, a brand book, design tokens as JSON and CSS, and a launch kit. It fits together because it is built in one pass instead of piece by piece across different suppliers.
Do you build apps?
Yes. Web apps, PWAs and native mobile apps for iOS and Android. We always start with the core that carries your business and build the rest around it — not the other way round.
That includes product concept and user flows, UI design and a clickable prototype, API and data model, auth with roles and permissions, testing, release and ongoing operation.
What is an AI automation?
An automation handles the work that runs the same way every day. A typical example: an enquiry arrives, gets captured, checked, written to the CRM, answered — and followed up automatically three days later. No copy-paste, no forgotten follow-ups.
We analyse the process first, design the architecture, connect your systems (Gmail, WhatsApp, CRM, calendar, sheets, accounting), add AI steps where they actually help, and put monitoring and error handling on top. You get a process map, the running automation, monitoring and a handbook for your team.
Do you build online shops?
Yes. To us a shop is a website with an extra data model: catalogue, cart, payment, shipping, returns. What usually matters more comes after — stock, reordering, shipment status and reviews can be automated directly with the Stock, Cargo and Echo agents.
Tell us what you sell and through which channels, and we will work out what makes sense in the first conversation.
Is this worth it for a small business?
Especially there. In a small business one person usually writes the quotes, books the appointments, raises the invoices and answers the messages — in the evening. Those four are exactly what an agent handles reliably.
So it does not have to happen all at once: a website first, then an agent where the most time disappears. The rest follows when it pays for itself.
Buddys
Which Buddys are there?
There are fifteen A2 Buddys: Ori (website & live guidance — that is me), Orbit (sales & leads), Nova (quotes & estimating), Slot (scheduling & dispatch), Mo (support & WhatsApp), Ledger (invoicing & dunning), Stock (inventory & reordering), Echo (reviews & reputation), Atlas (procurement & suppliers), Ember (content & social), Pulse (recruiting & onboarding), Cargo (delivery & shipment status), Sage (research & market), Bolt (operations & routine) and Vault (documents & deadlines).
Each Buddy has a clear role, real integrations and a measurable job. This is not off-the-shelf software: we build the Buddy around your workflow and implement it with you.
Tell me your industry — “joinery”, “wholesale”, “restaurant” — and I will name the Buddys that pay off fastest there.
What does an AI Buddy cost?
Four tiers, net. Entry from €269 setup plus €30 a month — website only, 150 conversations, one source, and he answers rather than acts; available for Ori, Mo and Sage. Starter from €690 setup plus €99 a month — one channel, 500 conversations included. Business from €1,490 plus €199 — three channels, 2,000 conversations. Pro from €2,990 plus €349 — unlimited channels, 6,000 conversations.
Above the included volume each further conversation costs €0.12 (Starter), €0.09 (Business) or €0.07 (Pro). It is written here so there is no surprise on an invoice later. Minimum term 12 months, cancellable monthly after that; paying yearly saves 12 %.
WhatsApp adds a fee charged by Meta — per message the Buddy sends; what your customer writes costs nothing. We pass it through at cost, never hidden inside the monthly price.
How many conversations are included?
Every Buddy subscription has a fixed allowance: Entry 150, Starter 500 conversations a month, Business 2,000, Pro 6,000. A conversation is one continuous exchange, not a single message.
Beyond that it is counted, not switched off: €0.12 per additional conversation on Starter, €0.09 on Business, €0.07 on Pro. We tell you before it costs more than the next tier up — at which point you simply move up.
Channels: Starter one, Business three, Pro as many as needed. Website, WhatsApp, email, phone — which of them makes sense is your operation’s decision, not the price list’s.
WhatsApp is billed by Meta itself, per message the Buddy sends out — anything your customers write in is free. We pass that fee through one to one, with no markup. We only name the exact amount once it comes out of your own Meta account: it depends on the country and the type of message, and Meta revises it quarterly.
How long does building an agent take?
How it runs: look at the process → define the agent’s role and limits → build the integrations → test against real cases while still in dry-run → switch on step by step → monitoring and handover.
A single, well-scoped agent is usually productive within a few weeks. The deciding factor is not the technology but how clearly the process is described — which is why it always starts with a conversation, not a software install.
What happens to our data?
When we build an agent we define up front which data it may see at all, which actions it may take on its own, and where a human approval is required. Every run is logged so it stays traceable.
For this website itself: no cookies, no tracking, no advertising services. I answer with a language model: your question goes to our server and from there to Anthropic (USA), is processed for the answer and not stored. Please do not enter sensitive data — the details are in the privacy policy.
How long am I tied in?
The ongoing services — care subscriptions and AI Buddys — have a 12-month minimum term. After that it simply continues month by month and you can cancel with 1 month's notice. It does not roll over into another full year.
Paying yearly in advance saves 12 %. That is the only discount we have — there is no second price for people who negotiate harder.
Websites, brands and apps are projects, not subscriptions: paid once, and the result is yours afterwards. A care subscription is optional, never a condition.
Prices & process
What does a project cost?
Websites have from-prices, net: one-pager from €690, small business with 3–5 pages from €1,990, business with 6–10 pages from €3,490, premium with motion or 3D from €5,900, shop from €4,900.
Brand: Brand Starter from €890, Brand Identity from €2,490, complete from €4,900. Apps deliberately carry no list price — instead there is a paid discovery workshop at €890, credited in full against the project.
What your project actually costs depends on scope. The project builder shows a non-binding range as you click, and after that you get a real proposal with a fixed scope.
Is the estimate binding?
No, and it says so. The number running along in the builder is a span derived from what you have just entered — not an offer. It exists to save you three conversations spent finding out whether we are even thinking in the same order of magnitude.
A binding offer comes in writing after we have been through the scope together once, with a fixed price per section. Anything added later is only added once you have approved it.
There are no hidden costs. Every price on this site is net and a from-price; what pushes a package up are things you deliberately add.
How long does a project take?
It depends on scope, but roughly: a well-scoped website usually takes a few weeks, a full brand build with a website takes longer, an app depends on its feature set.
In the enquiry form you tell us your preferred timing — as soon as possible, in 1–3 months, in 3–6 months, or timing open. After the first conversation you get a real schedule with milestones, not a guess.
How does a project run?
In four phases: 01 Discover — goal, audience, constraints. 02 Strategy — structure, content, design direction and tech as a basis for decisions. 03 Build — design and engineering in short rounds, every state visible on a real staging environment. 04 Launch & improve — go live, measure, refine, optional maintenance afterwards.
Clear handovers, no black box: you always see what is being built right now.
What happens after my enquiry?
We read it, ask a couple of questions and suggest a short call. Usually within one business day. No sales sequence, no newsletter afterwards — that one is separate and only if you subscribe to it yourself.
You can attach up to 2 files, 4 MB in total — a logo, a brief, a screenshot. Anything larger honestly belongs in a link.
What you send stays with us and is used for nothing else. Enquiries are deleted after 24 months if no project comes of them.
Why is there no price for apps?
Because any number there would be either untrue or frightening. An app ranges from a small internal tool to a platform with roles, payments and integrations — a factor of fifty between them.
Instead there is discovery: €890 for two weeks in which we pin down scope, architecture and effort. You get a concept, a click-through and a number that holds — and you keep all of it, even if you have it built elsewhere afterwards.
If it becomes a project with us, the discovery is credited in full. So in practice you only pay for it if you keep it as a standalone piece of work.
How do I start a project?
Through the project builder. You first choose what it is about — website, brand, app, automation, AI Buddy or a complete setup — and after that only the questions that belong to your route appear. About three minutes.
A non-binding estimate runs along on the right while you click. At the end you see everything again and can change any section on its own before anything is sent.
If you only have a question: just ask me here. You do not need a form for that.
Technical
Do you handle hosting and maintenance?
Yes, in three tiers, net: A2 Hosting €29 a month — hosting, SSL, daily backups, monitoring, security updates, no changes. A2 Care €79 — the same plus 30 minutes of changes a month and a reply within one business day. A2 Care+ €149 — plus two hours of changes, a four-hour response on business days and a quarterly performance report.
None of it is compulsory. You get the full source code and can continue yourself or with another supplier at any time — no lock-in.
How fast are your sites?
We work to a fixed performance budget and measure against Core Web Vitals: LCP under 2.5 s, CLS under 0.1, INP under 200 ms. That comes from statically rendered pages, self-hosted fonts, no third-party services and images in modern formats.
You get the report with the real measurements at the end of the project — not just the claim.
Do you handle SEO?
The technical foundations are part of every website: clean structure and headings, sensible titles and descriptions, fast loading, structured data, correct language markup on multilingual sites, a working sitemap.
What we do not promise is rankings. Anyone guaranteeing you position one is selling something they do not control.
Is the site accessible?
Accessibility is part of how we build, not an afterthought: full keyboard operation, visible focus, sufficient contrast, correct heading structure, labelled form fields, respect for “reduce motion”. The target is WCAG 2.2 AA.
For many businesses in the EU this became mandatory in 2025 under the European Accessibility Act anyway.
What do you build with?
We choose technology per project, not by fashion. For websites, usually statically rendered pages with minimal JavaScript — which is why they are fast and why little can break. For apps, a clean architecture with a clear data model and API.
You get a CMS if you want to edit content yourself. If not, we skip the complexity. Either way the source code is yours.
Does this site use cookies?
No. This site sets no cookies. Fonts, images, video and scripts come from our own server, and there are no third-party analytics or tracking services. We count page views ourselves on our own server — without cookies and without recognising you again. Stored locally is only your choice between light and dark appearance and, while you fill in the enquiry form, your progress.
What you ask me here goes encrypted to our server and from there to the language model; the conversation is not stored. What you enter in the enquiry form or the newsletter sign-up goes encrypted to our own server — details in the privacy policy in the footer.
A2
Who is behind A2?
A2 Digital Works builds websites, brands and apps — and the Buddys that take over the repeating work afterwards. Our line for it: life is easier and more enjoyable automated.
The working style: fast, statically rendered sites, clean data models, automation where it genuinely saves work, and AI as a tool — not as a sales pitch. Who stands behind it is in the imprint.
Do you have references?
Straight answer: the first client projects are in build and not published yet. We do not put invented case studies, invented reviews or invented logos on this site — what ships appears on the “Work” page as soon as we are allowed to show it.
A2 builds for itself first — our own brands, our own products, our own systems. Which is why we know the questions that come after launch from experience rather than from a slide.
How do you work and in which languages?
We work fully remotely, with clients anywhere. Project languages are German and English; we build bilingual sites regularly, this one included. Our registered address is in the imprint.
Can I talk to a human?
Of course. I am a simple assistant on this website and only answer what I actually know. Everything beyond that goes to a person at A2 — usually within one business day.
How do I get in touch?
Contact and starting a project are the same page here, with two doors. One question: type it into the field at the top — it comes straight to me. A bigger project: the builder next to it walks you through the questions that belong to your route in about three minutes, with a running estimate.
If I cannot answer something, it simply becomes an enquiry — your question travels with it, so you never type it twice.
Rather neither? Just send an email, the address is in the footer. We usually reply within one business day. We work remotely, with clients anywhere.
Your question was not here?
