What happens to my website’s data?
We read only public pages of your website (the start page and up to twelve linked sub-pages), nothing behind a login. The content stays in our server’s memory for two hours at most and is then deleted; nothing of it is written to disk. For Ori’s answers the content and your questions go to Anthropic (USA), which does not use them for training. Details in the privacy policy.
Why does my page look different in the preview?
Many websites do not allow being shown inside other pages, for security reasons. Then we build a recreation from your content, colours and logo. On your real site Ori sits in the bottom right just like this.
Does the finished Ori know more?
Yes. In the preview he knows your start page and up to twelve further pages of your website (menu, sitemap). In the finished Ori you give him what your customers need to know — services, prices, opening hours, frequent questions. What he does not know for sure, he still says honestly.
What does the test cost?
The 7 days are free. Unless you cancel by the end of day 7, the test turns automatically into the chosen subscription: setup once, then the monthly fee from the 1st of the following month, minimum term 12 months. During the test you cancel with one click on your Ori page.
How does Ori get onto my website?
With one single line of code before the end of your page — on WordPress, Wix, Jimdo, Squarespace or Webflow via “code injection”. Ori appears in your colours in the bottom right and sets no cookies. Rather not do it yourself? Our team installs him for you.
Does my privacy policy need a note?
Yes, a short paragraph — you find the ready text on your Ori page. We process your visitors’ questions on your behalf; the agreement for this is part of our terms (section 5a).
